A Rustic Afternoon of Bread & Warmth at 11 Acre Farm

Sourdough with Loris Peri — June 12, 6PM

Step into the golden-lit café space at 11 Acre Farm and spend the evening baking the old-fashioned way — with your hands in dough, flour on your apron, and good company around the bench.

This intimate workshop is led by Loris Peri (@loris_thebaker), a celebrated baker whose career has taken him through the kitchens of Australia’s most respected artisan bakeries — including Bourke Street Bakery, Sonoma, and The Bread Social. Known for his intuitive, soulful approach to baking, Loris brings with him years of experience, a deep respect for the craft, and a contagious love for wild-fermented bread.

✦ What to Expect ✦

This hands-on class unfolds in two gentle parts:

Part One – Mix & Muse
Loris will guide you through his personal recipe, demystify the sourdough schedule, and share how to fold breadmaking into the rhythms of daily life.

Part Two – Shape, Bake & Feed
Together, we’ll shape and bake a loaf, feed the starter for the first time, and explore the quiet ritual of caring for this living culture at home.

✦ You’ll Take Home ✦
• A sourdough starter to nurture
• Your own handmade dough, shaped and ready to bake
• A warm, fresh loaf from the farm oven
• A printed recipe + key notes to guide your journey

✦ Also Included ✦
• A welcome drink on arrival — hot or cold tea, or a glass of wine
• Wood-fired sourdough pizza shared fresh from the oven after class, with time to chat and unwind
