11 Acre Farm’s Animal Experience!

At 11 Acre Farm, our animal enclosures offer a hands-on, up-close experience with our friendly farm residents! For just $5 per person (children over 2 years old), visitors can wander through, meeting and feeding a variety of animals, from our gentle donkeys and playful goats to our curious pigs, fluffy sheep, and charming alpacas, heritage-breed chickens, quails, turkeys, guinea fowl, and even majestic peacocks, or visit our fluffy bunnies and guinea pigs. Whether you're watching the pigeons flutter, hand-feeding a friendly farmyard resident, or simply soaking in the rustic charm, this experience is perfect for all ages. Come and connect with nature, learn about our animals, and create lasting memories at 11 Acre Farm!

We’re happy to supply birthday cakes to suit your celebration.

Outside cakes are welcome, however a cakeage fee of $15 will apply.

Guidelines for Hosting an Eco-Friendly Event

We are committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. To help you plan an eco-friendly event, we ask that you consider the following guidelines. These will ensure that your function aligns with our values while creating a memorable experience for you and your guests.

Ban on Confetti, Balloons, and Single-Use Plastics

Confetti, Glitter and Balloons: We kindly ask that confetti, glitter, balloons, and similar single-use decorations are not used at your event. These items can contribute to significant waste and are harmful to the environment. This includes ‘eco-friendly balloons’.
Alternatives: Consider sustainable alternatives such as fresh flower petals, biodegradable confetti, or reusable decorations made from natural materials like fabric or wood.

Eco-Friendly Decor

Reusable Decor: Opt for decorations that can be reused or repurposed. Items such as cloth tablecloths, glass centerpieces, and potted plants not only reduce waste but also add an elegant touch to your event. We will provide bunting for the area. 
We encourage the use of natural elements, like flowers, greenery, and locally sourced materials to enhance the aesthetic while minimising environmental impact

Sustainable Tableware

No Single-Use Plastics: Please do not bring single-use plastic plates, cups, cutlery, and straws. 
Part of our food and drink service is that we provide high-quality reusable tableware.

Waste Reduction and Recycling

Plan your event to minimise waste by carefully estimating the amount of food and drinks required. This helps reduce leftovers and unnecessary waste.
Recycling: Cubby Cafe has recycling bins available for Containers for Change, recycling, plastics and food scraps. 
We encourage all guests to use these bins correctly to help us recycle as much as possible.

Food and Beverage Choices

We kindly ask you not to bring any outside food or beverages into 11 Acre Farm. Please support our little cafe by ordering from our menu or cabinet. 
Birthday cakes are permitted, however we we charge a $15 fee for ‘cakeage’. 

Communication with Guests

Inform Your Guests: Please let your guests know about your commitment to hosting an eco-friendly event. You can include a note in your invitations or signage at the event to encourage everyone to participate in sustainability efforts.

Post-Event Clean-Up

Leave No Trace: After the event, please ensure that all decorations, materials, and waste are removed or disposed of in an eco-friendly manner. 
We recommend taking any reusable items with you or donating them if possible.
